Fire Adapted Communities for the Fire Service
This training introduces the wildland fire threat and an overview of key concepts in community fire adaptation for fire and emergency response personnel operating in areas with wildland fire risk. Upon completion of this online course, participants will have awareness of community fire adaptation principles. This course is presented by IAFC Wildland Fire Programs in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service. This is a 2-hour training.
Hydrogen Response Considerations
This course is focused on hydrogen fuels, and hopes to expand its available content to include topics on additional alternative energy sources, emerging technologies and other issues important to the emergency response community.
Propane Emergencies
Our propane training is a web-based training project which entails directed online training to emergency responders through the combined efforts of the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). Its central aim is to expand awareness of critical information and issues related to propane hazards and incidents. The course provides a distance learning experience that fulfills the needs of today’s emergency responder personnel.
